Hands-on treatment for joints, muscles and the spine
Manual therapy uses skilled hands-on techniques to ease pain and restore movement in joints and soft tissues.
At Trinity it is always delivered by a physiotherapist and combined with exercise, so the improvement lasts.
Gentle, graded movements of a stiff joint, and manipulation where suitable.
Myofascial release and trigger point work for tight muscles.
You gently contract muscles against our hands to improve range.
Movements that keep the gains you make in the treatment room.
Before any hands-on treatment we assess you and screen for conditions where manipulation isn’t safe. We explain each technique and ask your consent before we begin.
Most people notice easier movement within a few sessions. Exercise keeps it that way.
Some techniques are similar, but our treatment is given by physiotherapists and is always part of a full physiotherapy plan with assessment and exercise.
It shouldn’t be painful. You may hear a click, and some people feel mild soreness for a day. We always explain first and ask your consent.
