About Trinity Physiocare & Aquacure

A physiotherapy and aquatic therapy clinic in St. Inez, Panaji

Trinity Physiocare & Aquacure was founded by Dr. Michelle D’Souza (PT) to bring internationally recognised physiotherapy techniques to patients in Goa, with an indoor therapy pool under the same roof.

Care built around your goals

Whatever your goal, whether it is walking without pain, getting back to sport or helping your child reach a milestone, we want to help you achieve it. Our aim is to help patients heal and regain mobility through the body’s natural healing ability, and, where appropriate, to help them manage their condition without surgery and the trauma that can come with it.

The clinic offers a range of treatment approaches under one roof:

  • Exercise therapy and rehabilitation
  • Manual therapy
  • Electrotherapy and laser
  • PNF (proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation)
  • NDT (neuro-developmental treatment)
  • CIMT (constraint-induced movement therapy)
  • Aquatic therapy in an indoor pool
  • Posture and ergonomic advice

MPT (Orthopaedics & Sports) · Physiotherapist since 2010

Michelle has practised as a registered physiotherapist since 2010. She graduated from KLE University and completed her postgraduate degree at SDM College of Physiotherapy, specialising in Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine, with training across orthopaedic, neurological and cardiopulmonary conditions.

She has worked in hospitals, outpatient clinics, home care and long-term care across Goa, both as a consultant and in direct patient care. She is internationally certified in aquatic therapy (IATF, Switzerland), PNF (IPNFA, Holland) and NDT Adult Neuro (NDTA, USA), and holds a CIMT certification (USA). Michelle prefers current hands-on techniques combined with exercise-based rehabilitation, so that you are an active participant in your own recovery. She continues to add to her training, including soft tissue release and manipulative techniques, and focuses on making sure you exercise with the right technique and form.

Her passion is helping you get back to your everyday activities and stay motivated through rehabilitation to reach your fitness and lifestyle goals. Her aim is to bring internationally recognised treatment techniques to patients in Goa at accessible prices.
